On Campaign Turn 2, the Revengers still found themselves on Weber’s World, and were hired by another corporate patron, Bayonne Corp., to deliver a high-tech seismic sensor to Ice Station Zero located on the planets North Polar region. Little did they know, a pack of genetically engineered dire wolves awaited them!
| Ice Station Zero! |
| Revengers deploy (minus Dirk)! |
| 8 Dire wolves on the hunt! |
| Revengers steal the initiative and advance! |
| The wolves are immune to the slippery conditions. |
| Corvus and Lykos try to take the high ground. |
| Captain Stevens and Singh carry the objective—it must be delivered to the board center. |
| Wolves climb, swarm the center, and flank! |
| Corvus lines up a miracle shot! |
| Singh deploys his Insta Wall. |
| Shield-slinging Stevens take out his first of four wolves! |
| There goes the second! |
| Sawtooth gets in on the action! |
| Stevens is a melee demon. |
| Another wolf down! |
| Corvus blasts another one! |
| Singh delivers the goods! |
Amazing scenario! The Revengers killed 7 of 8 wolves, including two dire wolves, and suffered no casualties. They held the field, and made a successful delivery.
Author’s Note: I did not document Campaign Turn 1, which I played several months ago. In that turn the Revengers did patron mission for Ennovac Incorporated, and took on the Fool Killers, a band of hired guns. They got the drop on them and slew them to a man, but crew member Dirk Morgna took a serious injury and found himself in sick bay.
